Barcelona's president; Bartomeu confirms Setien 'has been sacked'
“Josep Bartomeu, Barca president, just confirmed to @tjcope [Partidazo COPE] that Quique Setien “has been sacked”. Ronald Koeman, Mauricio Pochettino and Xavi are in the list as next manager,” transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported via Twitter.
On Monday, Quique Setien is expected to get the sack publicly.
With Setien in charge, the Catalans have won 16 games out of 25; 4 ended in a draw while 5 were lost, including the ones against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Ronald Koeman is said to be the best-positioned candidate to replace the Spaniard.
