Nigeria Records 298 New Cases Of COVID-19 including 1 death
Nigeria on Sunday recorded 298 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing its total caseload, since it began reporting in February, to 49,068.
This was revealed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet.
The health agency also recorded one additional death as a result of the virus.
Plateau state recorded the highest for the day with 108 cases.
While others are thus: Kaduna-49 Lagos-47 Ogun-18 Osun-17 FCT-15 Ondo-14 Edo-8 Oyo-6 Akwa Ibom-4 Cross River-4 Borno-3 Ekiti-2 Bauchi-1 Kano-1 Rivers-1.
as 36,497 patient have been discharged so far and 975 deaths confirmed.
