NIN-SIM Linkage: FG Announces New Deadline (Details)
LAGOS –In an offer to guarantee telecoms supporters are not deactivated, the progressing National Identification Number (NIN) and Subscriber Identity Module mix practice has been stretched out to April 6 – two months from now.
The Federal Government made the declaration on Tuesday morning.
It said the new cutoff time was currently April 6, 2021.
Chief, Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission, Ikechukwu Adinde, who revealed this in a WhatsApp message to DAILY INDEPENDENT, said the augmentation was passed on by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
Pantami passed on the message during the gathering of the Ministerial Taskforce on NIN-SIM enlistment which hung on the first of February, 2021.
