US President Donald Trump on Sunday admitted that Joe Biden, candidate of the Democratic Party, won the November 3 election.
he alleged that Biden won because the election was rigged.
With this many believe the Republican candidate is edging closer towards conceding defeat.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s bid to challenge the 2020 US Presidential Election results in some battleground States seems to be falling apart. Joe Biden of the Democratic party had reached the minimum Electoral College Votes (270), needed to be declared winner of the race.
From law firms his team hired and lawyers abandoning the suit to court rejections have added more misery to his woes.
On Friday, The Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia rejected five challenges by his team. The Trump campaign and Republicans had filed five legal challenge that alleged irregularities for mail-in ballots. Their allegations being that the voters in Philadelphia never printed their names under their signature or print their address on their mail-in ballots’ outer envelope.
This is coming as a law firm-The Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, representing the Trump campaign in the state had announced on Friday it has withdrawn from the case. This may not be unconnected to the backlash the firm got and public pressure from the Lincoln Project – a group of Republicans that worked to defeat Trump.
In Michigan, the rejection continued as a Wayne County Circuit Judge, Timothy Kenny denied the Trump campaign’s request to stop the canvassing of ballots in Wayne County, which includes Detroit, calling the case ‘not credible.’
Lawyers representing the Trump’s team in Arizona added more woes when they discontinued their suit seeking a hand count of ballots after a series of networks had called the race in favor of Joe Biden.
