Nigeria Records 453 new COVID-19 Cases including 6 Deaths
Nigeria has recorded 453 more cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing its total infections to 46,140.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Saturday night via Twitter.
The Health agency, NCDC data showed that the latest COVID-19 cases were confirmed in 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A breakdown of the new infections revealed that they were confirmed as follows: FCT-75 Lagos-71 Benue-53 Delta-39 Borno-30 Enugu-25 Plateau-24 Osun-20 Abia-19 Oyo-17 Kaduna-16 Kano-13 Ebonyi-13 Ogun-9 Kwara-7 Ondo-6 Gombe-3 Ekiti-2 Akwa Ibom-1 Rivers-1
Of the confirmed infections in Nigeria, 942 persons have died due to complications from the disease while 33,044 cases have been successfully managed and discharged as the total confirmed cases hits 46,140.
