Nigeria records 304 New Covid-19 cases including 5 Deaths
Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have continued to rise as Lagos on Sunday confirmed 81 fresh cases to top the country’s daily infections from the virus.
The Health agency, NCDC data showed that the latest COVID-19 cases were confirmed in 13 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A breakdown of the new infections revealed that they were confirmed as follows: Lagos-81 FCT-39 Abia-31 Kaduna-24 Rivers-23 Plateau-16 Cross River-13 Ebonyi-12 Ondo-12 Ekiti-11 Edo-11 Benue-10 Nasarawa-10 Ogun-6
Of the confirmed infections in Nigeria, 888 persons have died due to complications from the disease while 20,308 cases have been successfully managed and discharged as the total confirmed cases hits 43,841.
