Nigeria confirms 252 fresh covid-19 cases, three deaths
Nigeria has recorded 252 new cases of the novel coronavirus, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The new infections bring the country’s total caseload to 52,800 with a combined death toll of 1,007; 39,964 persons have recovered from the virus.
The health agency released the latest figures in a late-night tweet on Tuesday.
Of the new cases, Plateau reported the highest among the states with 50, while Enugu ranked second with 35.
