COVID-19: Nigeria Reports 296 new cases, One more death
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the figure in a late-night tweet on Thursday while giving an update on the pandemic.
This brings the total number of recovered cases in Nigeria to 40,726. Bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 53,317.
The latest cases were reported from 16 states of the federation and Plateau with Enugu having 85 and 46 respectively
Others are Oyo-31 Lagos-21 Rivers-20 FCT-15 Kaduna-13 Bauchi-12 Delta-11 Ekiti-11 Akwa Ibom-7 Ebonyi-6 Kwara-5 Ogun-4 Osun-4 Gombe-3 Niger-2
A single deaths was also recorded, bringing the nation’s death toll from the disease to 1,011.
