Covid-19: Nigeria records 386 New cases including 4 Deaths
Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases have continued to rise as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday confirmed 130 fresh cases to top the country’s daily infections from the virus.
The Health agency, NCDC data showed that the latest COVID-19 cases were confirmed in 17 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A breakdown of the new infections revealed that they were confirmed as follows: FCT-130 Lagos-65 Ondo-37 Osun-29 Plateau-23 Rivers-15 Enugu-14 Nasarawa-12 Bayelsa-11 Ebonyi-11 Ekiti-9 Oyo-8 Edo-8 Abia-6 Ogun-3 Katsina-3 Imo-1 Adamawa-1
Of the confirmed infections in Nigeria, 883 persons have died due to complications from the disease while 20,087 cases have been successfully managed and discharged as the total confirmed cases hits 43,537.
