Covid-19: Nigeria records 575 new Cases including 9 Deaths
According to a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) which said the new figure brings the West African nation’s total confirmed cases to 29,286.
The agency said the new COVID-19 cases were reported in 19 states in the country and the Federal Capital with Lagos State having the highest number of infections for Monday – 123.
Other states which had new COVID-19 cases include FCT-100, Delta-58, Edo-52 Ogun-42, Katsina-24, Bayelsa-23, Rivers-22, Borno-19, Plateau-18, Ondo-18, Oyo-17, Kwara-15, Osun-13, Enugu-9, Nasarawa-7, Abia-6, Cross River-5, Kaduna-3, Ekiti-1.
So far, 11,828 persons who contracted the virus have been discharged with 654 deaths recorded, according to the data from the NCDC.
