Covid-19: Nigeria records 290 New cases including 5 Deaths
Nigeria has recorded 290 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of COVID-19 infections in the country to 46,867.
Of the new cases reported, Lagos has the highest number of infections – 82, followed by Plateau and Oyo state which reported 82 and 19 cases respectively.
Others are FCT-18 Edo-16 Kaduna-15 Enugu-9 Ogun-9 Kano-8 Kwara-8 Cross River-5 Ondo-5 Rivers-5 Ekiti-4 Imo-3 Borno-2.
The number of those successfully treated and discharged from various treatment centres also rose to 33,346
While more people have recovered from the disease, the country reported five new fatalities, raising the number of those who have lost the battle to the virus to 950.
