
Covid-19: Nigeria confirms 321 new cases, Two deaths
Nigeria has recorded 321 new cases of the novel coronavirus, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The new infections bring the country’s total caseload to 52,548 with a combined death toll of 1004; 39,257 persons have recovered from the virus.
The health agency released the latest figures in a late-night tweet on Monday.
Of the new cases, Lagos reported the highest among the states with 98, while The FCT ranked second with 34.
Other regions with new cases include Kaduna-30, Nasarawa-25, Benue-21, Plateau-17, Rivers-15, Adamawa-11, Ogun-11, Enugu-9, Edo-8, Delta-7, Ekiti-7, Gombe-5, Ebonyi-4, Bayelsa-3, Kano-3, Ondo-3, Cross River-2, Imo-2, Kebbi-2, Niger-2, Abia-1, Bauchi-1
