As Americans prepare for the November 2020 presidential election, polls are being conducted to evaluate the strength of the two contenders: President Donald Trump of the Republican party and Joe Biden of the Democratic party.
While polls are good ways to gauge the mood of the nation by asking voters which candidate they prefer, they’re not necessarily a good way to predict the result of the election. According to BBC, Biden has been ahead of President Trump in most national polls since the beginning of 2020.
The newspaper reported that the Democrat’s presidential candidate has hovered around 50% in recent months and has had a 10-point lead on occasions. Polls results in the battleground states: 1.
