Copywriting is basically salesmanship in print. I won’t want to assume we all know the basic things about copywriting. So that’s where we are starting.It entails using the written words to compel people to buy a product or service.

A copywriter is a salesman in print.Like Don Lok defined it, “Copywriting is using the written words to start, enhance or extend a relationship with a customer that includes salesmanship or saleswomanship in print”.

A copywriter already knows the strategic words that enhance sales.

As a Copywriter, you go to their page and make little changes. You change the headline, the guarantee or the Call to action.

The Levels of Copywriting and the Requirements of a Copywriter:

1) Corporate Copywriter: These are people who works for companies, writing their copies, newsletter, writing their brochures.They are paid base on salary and this is not the best.

2) Freelancer’s Copywriters: People who work from freelancing site, sites like Fiverr and Upwork. This is good but not the best. 

3) Agency Copywriters: Now, when you have your agency. Fiverr is not taking 20% from you. All the money that comes is for you.               

4) Celebrity (personal brand) Copywriter: This is the highest level. Here, you build a name and a Fame. People like Dan Lok, Jason capital and the rest. You have an audience you can sell to anytime any day. You are making impact and helping others on the same road. This is the point everyone should strive to get to.

5) Affiliating Copywriter :

This is a passive income. You don’t do anything and you also earn. I did this for my mentor a lot. And I still do till date. Some of my graduating student did that. And they all got graduated with smile and money in their pocket. 

Simply, this means that you’d work together with your mentor or someone with more experience than you in copywriting, and for them while you get paid.

So when you are an established copywriter, you get mentees and they work together with you, you can assign specific jobs to them, they do it and you get paid and you pay them.
