COVID-19: Nigeria records 225 New Cases including as total discharged hit 52,006.
Nigeria reported 225 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday night, taking the country’s total to 60,655 even as the number of persons discharged after recovering from the virus now stands at 52,006 after another 63 persons recovered from the infection today.
Three deaths were recorded which leaves the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Nigeria since the February 27 index case at 1,116.
According to latest update gathered from 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and made public via its verified Twitter handle, @NCDCgov, the breakdown of the 225 new cases is as follows:
Lagos-165, FCT-17, Rivers-13, Ogun-12, Niger-8, Delta-4, Ondo-2, Anambra-1, Edo-1, Ekiti-1, Kaduna-1.
